Visual perception: seeing, light, darkness, clarity, focus, and perspective. The privileged sensory modality in Western epistemology — knowledge IS sight in a way it is not smell or taste. We see the point, observe the facts, look at the evidence. The frame’s dominance reveals a cultural bias: not all languages or traditions equate understanding with vision.
