Technology Risk
Roles: innovation, disruption, preservation, vulnerability, adoption, resistance
The domain of threats, trade-offs, and unintended consequences arising from technological change. Covers the tension between innovation and preservation, the risks of adoption and the costs of resistance, and the ways that new technologies redistribute power, reshape environments, and create vulnerabilities that did not previously exist. As a target domain it draws on spatial metaphors (frontiers, borders), biological metaphors (infection, mutation), and moral metaphors (corruption, innocence) to make abstract technological dynamics concrete and emotionally legible.
