Roles: deity, worshipper, omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, doctrine, heresy, monotheism, polytheism

The structured relationship between humans and the divine, organized around worship, doctrine, and the attributes of gods. Monotheistic traditions concentrate supreme attributes in a single deity — omniscience (knows all), omnipotence (can do all), omnipresence (is everywhere) — and treat any rival claim to those attributes as heresy. Productive as a source domain because it maps the logical structure of divine authority (concentration of power, universal dependence, unchallengeable centrality) onto systems where similar structures appear as design problems rather than virtues.
