Organism
Roles: organ, function, circulation, growth, decay, health, disease, immune-response, metabolism, hierarchy
The structural organization of a biological organism: specialized organs performing distinct functions, hierarchical control systems, circulatory distribution of resources, immune defense against foreign agents, metabolic processes of consumption and waste, and the arc from growth through maturity to decay. Distinct from embodied-experience (which covers phenomenological sensation from the inside) — organism logic views the body as an engineering system from the outside, emphasizing functional interdependence, systemic health, and the consequences of organ failure for the whole.
