The dynamics of care, sustenance, and generative creation — and the dependency structures they produce. Nurturing systems provide the conditions for growth but also define the boundaries within which growth can occur. Structurally productive because every nurturing relationship contains a tension between enabling autonomy and maintaining dependency, between the generative and the devouring.
