Integration and Wholeness

Roles: center, parts, integration-process, wholeness, fragmentation

The process and state of bringing disparate parts into a unified whole — whether in psychic development, organizational alignment, or system architecture. The central tension is between the integrating center and the autonomous parts it must encompass without erasing. Productive as a target domain because nearly every complex system faces the question of how (and whether) its components cohere.
