Cooperation and Trust
Roles: cooperator, defector, trust, betrayal, reciprocity, reputation, collective-benefit, free-rider
The dynamics of mutual reliance between agents who could benefit from betrayal. Encompasses trust-building, reputation systems, reciprocal altruism, and the free-rider problem. Structurally interesting because cooperation requires each party to accept vulnerability, and the stability of cooperation depends on mechanisms (iteration, reputation, punishment) that make defection costly.
